Lessons start at $43 for 30 minutes if held in our studio or at school. Mobile (home) lessons add an extra $5 per lesson. For a full list of prices, please reach out to us any time.
How do you manage missed classes?
If a student is away a makeup lesson can be arranged, only if a minimum of 24 hours prior notification is given. For absences due to school activities (e.g. excursion, test, sport carnivals etc.) a minimum 2 days notice is required. Without this prior notification the lesson will be forfeited and you will be charged for the lesson.
Do you hold make-up lessons?
Make-up lessons are lessons where a student arranges an alternate time to do their weekly lesson other than their usual allocated slot. Usually these lessons must take place in the same week at an alternate time slot or at another mutually convenient time. For school students there are 10 lessons per term and all make up lessons will be conducted during that term.
What are your supervision policies?
School policy dictates that parents inform Mojo of how and when they will drop off and pick up their child from lessons. This is to ensure the safety of students while in the care of Mojo Guitar Teachers.
Do students require their own instruments?
As guitars come in many different shapes, sizes, and styles; our teachers cannot provide guitars for their students to use. It is also great for students to have their own guitar that they are familiar with, and have easy access to for jamming at home. The same is recommended for bass guitars and ukuleles. For those doing drum lessons at our studios, we have drum kits there to use. If you don’t have a guitar or instrument to play, there are a few great music stores in Canberra that you can check out. You can also speak to us about renting out one of our spare guitars :)
Do you offer group lessons?
While most of our lessons are 1:1, we can also arrange small group lessons! This can be great if you have a family member or friend that wants to join in. Please feel free to contact us for a list of prices.
