Without this prior notification the lesson will be forfeited and you will be charged for the lesson.

3. For absences due to school activities (e.g. excursion, test, graduation, sport carnivals etc.) a minimum of 24 hours notice is required.

Without this prior notification the lesson will be forfeited and you will be charged for the lesson.

Make up Lessons

Make-up lessons are lessons where a student arranges an alternate time to do their weekly lesson other than their usual allocated slot. Usually these lessons must take place in the same week at an alternate time slot or at another mutually convenient time. For school students there are 10 lessons per term and all make up lessons will be conducted during that term. Make up lessons are also dependent on teacher availability. If your teacher is not available a substitute teacher may teach that lesson.

Health issues

Does your child have any health issues their teacher needs to be aware of? If YES please send us an email immediately to [email protected] with all pertinent information.

Practice

Wonderful parents if you could remind your child to practice, encourage them, motivate, reward and provide a little push here and there they will enjoy their instrument more and get better and better. All students should be doing some daily practice. The more practice, the better. A good benchmark is between 10-30min every day.

It’s important to remember that each child is unique and will develop at different rates. The key is finding the balance between consistent application and fun. Good Luck!
